Celebrating Small Businesses in Exeter - Awards Evening
Congratulations to the Finalists and Winners at this year's Celebrating Small Businesses in Exeter Awards Evening which took place on Friday 31st October 2008.
We were a finalist in the Best Small Business Employer category and came second in the category, with HQ Hair & Beauty winning the category.
We all had a very enjoyable evening which consisted of a drinks reception, followed by a welcome speech from Nigel Hillier, the FSB Exeter Branch Chairman. Ben Bradshaw MP then gave a speech and lastly Exeter Business School & Exeter Branch of the FSB launched their training initiative.
Then prior to the presentation of the awards, Cllr. Paul Smith - Lord Mayor of Exeter gave a speech and presented all the finalists with a prize.
The evening ended with a buffet and live music. A very good evening and hopefully we will be lucky next year and win the category.
