EMG Symphony Orchestra's Gala Spring Concert

The EMG Symphony Orchestra's Gala Spring Concert took place on Thursday 17th April at Exeter Cathedral, which R K Shipman were major sponsors of.

The evening went extermely well and a excellent audience was present.

EMG also confirmed that they are planning another Cathedral Christian Aid Concert next year with the leader of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra playing Bruch's 'Scottish Fantasy' and the Vaughan Williams 'Lark Ascending'.

EMGSO is a registered Charity with almost 100 full and associate playing members and is affiliated to Making Music.  EMGSO organises a series of 3 - 5 major concerts each year in the city of Exeter and in towns around Devon.  It has received much critical acclaim for its performances both in the UK and abroad under its Musical Director, Roger Hendy who has been with the orchestra for 20 years.
