Devon Life Food & Drinks Awards
R K Shipman sponsors of the ‘Best Organic Product/Trader of the Year.’ In 2007 we supported the Devon Life Food & Drink Awards and sponsored the ‘Best Organic Product/Trader of the Year’ category. The purpose of the awards was to champion, highlight and offer a showcase to local producers, small farming businesses and suppliers and people who care about the countryside and the future of our local environment. The awards are important in celebrating and promoting the fantastic food and drink industry we have here in the south-west to both local residents and visitors to the region.
The awards took place on Thursday 1st November 2007 at Sandy Park and a fantastic evening was enjoyed by all. The 3 finalists short-listed were Fishleigh Estate, Linscombe Farm and Riverford and the results were:

Riverford Organic, Buckfastleigh
Peter Ellis, Managing Director was there to present the award to the winner.
